NEW BEGINNINGS

Passover occurred recently and it is a time to renew our faith and our commitments to YAHWEH.  HE sent HIS son to unite the Jew and Gentile believers and Constantine (a racist) found it in his heart to separate us, create a false holiday, and give power to fallible men who took it upon themselves to defy YAHWEH for their own selfish greed of power.  This time of year has me feeling on fire for GODs purpose for me and my understanding of who HE is.

I am starting a new position a week from Monday.  GOD has provided my family with financial security and opportunities for further growth in my career.  I may even get to return to University for my graduate degree.  I must admit I long for a diploma that says Kansas University on it!

I also received fantastic news today as well.  My childhood friend will be coming back to Kansas August 2nd.  I hope and pray that YAHWEH softens his heart to hear truth. I pray for him to be willing to listen and study to find truth and seek understanding.  I pray he will come to know YAHWEH the way I know HIM.  Please be praying for him as well.

CURRENT BLESSINGS

Thanks to the government and the fact that I worked just the right amount I received a mother load payday (tax return) and I was able to buy a newer car.  I found Ruby, a 2002 Jeep Liberty.  Amazingly I was unknowingly buying her from a long lost friend.  Had to be a GOD thing for sure.  Isn't she pretty?

I wanted to sell the taurus for full price, but GOD had other plans.  I prayed, and prayed, and prayed about who needed it most?  I had an acquaintance from church and a childhood friend who both needed a car.  I used to take a guy to church because he did not have his own car.  I prayed about it and felt GOD was leading me to offer the car to this person.  At first I was not keen on the idea, I still wanted to sell it for big money.  HERE COME THE BLESSINGS!

I obeyed YAHWEH.  Took a loss on the old Taurus.  BUT in return my blessings have POURED, and I mean POURED and POURED and POURED!

First and surprisingly the one that FEELS THE BEST to me are not the things Yahweh gave me, but the thanks and gratitude I received from the taurus' new owner.  I got a first hand experience of YAHWEH moving in someone else life and YAHWEH let me be a part of it!  I received a call that went something like this:

Thank you so much (sniff), I am taking my son to eat at Perkins for breakfast today;  something I do not remember doing before.  (choked up) You have no idea how much this is going to change my life, and my kids lives.  I just wanted to say thank you.

MY BLESSING: I got to respond with,"it isn't me who is changing your life, but YAHWEH!"


So now onto what I have been handed since:
#1- won an ipod touch 4th generation
#2- won an ipad 2 (get that in about two to three weeks)
#3- Closed two sales that I had been struggling with and had thought I had lost (I'll be able to catch back up on my bills and help my mom)

Total combination of value........  BLESSINGS..........MORE THAN I COULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF THE TAURUS!

I'm not sure after this week if I even need to blog again......for a year! I think YAHWEH showed HIMSELF in a serious way. If I were writing to prove a point I would say mission completed.  But it is only APRIL and the year is not over, so keep looking for what and how YAHWEH blesses me.  Hopefully HE'LL let me be a part of others' blessing again.  I can't reiterate enough that the best blessing I received was the knowledge of the dramatic affect the car had on peoples lives!

Remembering back 1

I was chatting with the parental force, Mom, and my youngest son, Simon, about his immense communication skills; how I had asked Yahweh, while in prayer, for him to receive this characteristic.  We were discussing how Simon had received all of the qualities I had prayed for, for him.  What a blessing! My oldest son, Isaac, was born prematurely at 27 weeks gestation.  He survived a lung hemorrhage and had actually coded, suffered RSV untreated for 7 of the 10 days the virus runs its' course, and has what we were told is apraxia.  He receives speech therapy and occupational therapy.  Isaac is an amazing gift from Yahweh.  He was very hard to understand as well because of his apraxia which affects his speech.  It was for this reason that I asked for Simon to be a great communicator.  And that he is... Simon, as soon as he could talk was able to understand Isaacs' speech and translate to me what Isaac was requesting or sharing with the rest of the family and his friends.  Simon's ability opened up a whole new world for Isaac.  I say frequently Yahweh has great plans for Simon and the gift of communication he bestowed upon all of us through Simon.  Through one prayer answered, Yahweh blessed many.
